Front View. I wanted a densely planted area and the swordplants on the left help to accomplish this. I planted the Myriophyllum at the rear center to try to bridge the dense foliage at the left of the 缸体 with the individual 植物 to the right and the open area at the front right of center. The fact that it reaches over the top surface and blends with the floating 植物 helps to accomplish this goal. The Sagittaria is in the right rear corner and a stand of Ludwigia is in front of it. The Hydrocotyle was planted at the front center as I like the look of the stems and roots, and the lack of lower foilage permits one to see beyond it. This also places the floating leaves at the front of the 缸体. The Ludwigia was a bit short at the time that the photographs were taken, but my limitation of only procuring 植物 from the wild has prevented the biotope from looking perfectly sculpted and proportioned. I have realized that with the alternating wet and dry seasons here, and the shallow streams, that a plant available two 周 previous may have disappeared upon my return. So I have come to realize that with a biotope taken directly from nature, certain limitations apply.
